Minister’s message Dear All,

ministers photo Department of Revenue and Disaster Management, the “mother” of all Departments, touch the life of everyone in Kerala, in one way or other. The plethora of services extended by the officials of Department cannot match with any other Department in Kerala. The Acts and Rules being dealt by the officials of the Department, numbering more than 150, warrants the higher authorities to devise systems for the continuous sensitization of officials, cutting across the cadres in the Department. Besides, for systematically addressing the manifold challenges and criticisms against the Department, firm and uncompromising measures are to be taken. The knowledge and skill up gradation of the officials, to meet the growing demands of the commons is important in this context and this task is entrusted with Institute of Land and Disaster Management [ILDM] by the Government. I do hope the Institute would sincerely meet the expectations of the Government and I wish the team all the best in this endeavor.
