An IGNOU study center is being functional in the institute since 2015. The center offers 6 different programmes to both the officials of the departments in government service and to the general public. In south India, many of the programmes are being offered only by ILDM.

ILDM offers programmes on Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster Management, Certificate Programme in Disaster Management, Post Graduate Certification in Geo-Informatics, and Certificate in First Aid. For Admissions : http://www.ignou.ac.in/
